it needs to be pretty, obviously, but i'd also love it to be a great read. (and no prejudice against paperbacks once in a while- more book for a better price)! here are a few titles i'm eyeing:
{sources}
1 // design brooklyn
3 // audrey in rome
5 // vogue living
6 // remodelista
7 // decorate
8 // alexa chung
10 // undecorate
11 // the big book of chic
12 // kate spade style
14 // tom ford
15 // domestic art
17 // vanity fair 100 years
19 // chanel
20 // fashion
have you read any of these? how are they? how about you guys-- what are your favorite books for styling and display? this commitment-phobe needs your suggestions!
I vote for number 18. Anyone who is into design has the monkey of perfection on her back. Take a step back and begin to teach yourself and appreciate imperfection. You will have a much happier life..
ReplyDeletei so agree...and i think homes that are curated over time with things you love feel more comfortable and personal too. it doesn't matter if it's 'perfect' or 'fits' or if anyone else likes it...if you love it, it's good design. thanks for voting! :)
DeleteI am so going to have to check out design brooklyn
ReplyDeleteyes! doesn't it look cool?? let me know what you think if you get your eyes on it before i do...
